Strolling the Streets of Paris

Can you imagine having nothing better to do with your day than strolling the streets of Paris?  Giving yourself an extra day or two in this magic city allows you to do just that, plus you might even feel a bit Parisian if you do.  It seems as if everyone here has the time, or makes the time, to enjoy outside, even if it is overcast and chilly.  To feel part of the city is to stroll the streets, have a sit in the park and chew on a baguette while walking to no place in particular.

We started one such afternoon by taking the Metro to the Arc de Triomphe and walking down (literally you are going down hill) to the Jardin de Tuileries.

Believe it or not we didn’t have to wait to long to snap this shot without any cars, it only took a few minutes of patience!  Notice the Eiffel Tower in the back…I was stoked to find this picture angle!

If you want to join us on a stroll starting at the Arc de Triomphe and down the Champs Elysees, Jon made a video for you:
